These glasses are made from recycled windows and bottles! Kitengela collect old glass from a range sources and melt them down to create the glasses, breathing new life into materials that would have been destined for landfill. The glasses can be reycycled at your local recycling centre at the end of their useful life.
Kitengela follow fair trade guidelines paying a staff of 40 well above standard wages; and providing them with loans, transport, medical, and controlled working hours and conditions.
