Beeswax Pillar Candles

  • Kenya

These beeswax pillar candles are made by hand using pure, natural beeswax.  With its rich honey aroma and gentle amber tone, it fills your space with warmth and calm. Each candle burns cleanly and evenly, perfect for daily use or as a centrepiece on your table.

The Laikipia Beekeeping Company is a small candle-making workshop based at the foothills of Mount Kenya, where vast grasslands meet the edge of a national park. Working hand in hand with local beekeeping collectives, they create pure beeswax candles that capture the scent and light of this remarkable landscape

Sustainability is at the heart of the Laikipia Beekeeping Company’s work. By supporting beekeeping, they help protect Kenya’s forested landscapes and create meaningful, low-impact livelihoods for rural communities. Bees are essential to local ecosystems, pollinating trees and crops that sustain both wildlife and people. The candles are made using 100% natural beeswax and cotton wicks—renewable, biodegradable, and free from synthetic additives. Production remains intentionally small-scale, ensuring minimal carbon emissions and complete traceability from hive to home. Every candle embodies a cycle of care: for the land, the bees, and the people who keep them.

About the process

About the process

Every Tomorrows product begins with a conversation. Together with our artisan partners, we design and refine pieces that celebrate their traditional skills while meeting contemporary design needs.

Our approach is guided by respect for materials and mindful production. We use locally available, low-impact, and often natural or recycled resources, ensuring that the process leaves as light a footprint as possible. Each item is handcrafted, meaning no two pieces are ever quite the same. This is a reflection of the human touch that defines our work.
