Tensira creates high-quality home textiles and accessories using 100 percent cotton, entirely crafted in their workshop in the Republic of Guinea. Founded by Hamidou Diallo and Tuulia Makinen, the brand is named after a village known for its indigo dyeing traditions.

Tensira's collections combine timeless designs with meticulous West African craftsmanship. From spinning to stitching, each product is made start to finish in Guinea, creating lots of economic opportunities for the local community. The brand employs over 100 full-time artisans and collaborates with rural artisan groups across the country, with a strong emphasis on supporting women’s work.
