MADU began a few years ago in Zamalek, Cairo, when founder Margarita Andrade gathered handmade pieces from artisans she'd met across Egypt's cities, villages and coastlines. At its heart is a commitment to supporting marginalised artisans by providing a steady income and lasting futures for their communities. Today, they continue to carry that spirit forward, connecting craftsmanship, design and collaboration across borders.
